The G42 Gate is 42" high and manufactured in five sizes to fit openings of 36, 40, 44, 48 and 52 inches. (Opening is post to post inside measurements) Install the gate 4" above the sidewalk, this makes the top of the gate 46" high. Turn the bottom hinge hanger down and the top one up, so your gate can't be lifted off the hinges (see picture). Now set the gate using the nuts on the hanger bolts so the latch fits tight into the latch bracket and the gate still opens both ways. Now install the design (sold separately) by drilling holes in the middle bar (½" square tube) and bolt on the design. After you are done give the gate a good coat of enamel paint to prevent rusting. The Gate frame and top scrolls are made of 1/4" x 1½" flat iron. The middle bars are ½" square, all twisted except the middle which is straight tubing (For the design). Openings are 4" or less. Paint black primer coat. Gates weigh from 50 to 60 lbs depending on size. You get the Gate, Hinge Brackets, Hinge Hangers, Latch, Latch Bracket, Locking Bracket and Bolts to install the Gate to wood posts. The Gate frame is made of 1 x 1 x 100 wall tubing. The scrolls on top are made of 1/4" x 1" flat iron. The middle bars are ½" square tubing, with two ½" square twisted bars above and below the design box. Openings are 3½" or less. Paint black primer coat. Gates weigh from 80 to 90 lbs depending on size. You get the Gate, Hinge Brackets, Hinge Hangers, Latch, Latch Bracket, Locking Bracket and Bolts to install the Gate to wood posts.
